My name is Phoebe and I trained as a nurse many years ago. I gained my experiences in a variety of health and care settings and roles including general, geriatric and cottage hospitals, nursing homes, health visitors assistant, night sister, and practice sister. I was able to work shifts to fit in with my children. In 1992, I trained in massage, anatomy and physiology and over the next few years qualified as an aromatherapist, reflexologist, sports massage etc.
I worked from home until 2012 which was when my husband retired. I trained in 1987 as a yoga teacher and taught in Adult Education and privately. I have 3 children who are all married, 6 grand children. I am so lucky to be part of an amazing, supportive, convivial, chaotic and never boring family! Now I am a member of the End of Life Doula UK family and feel at home. I loved doing the Foundation course where in a short space of time, we all bonded as a very special group and keep in contact. Now that I am retired, my interests include yoga, arts and crafts, gardening, my family, dog walking and travelling in our camper van, mainly in Ireland.
